Lesson 18 - The Meaning of Life

Okay, that sounds a bit deep, I know!  But this week, I want you to think about what the phrase "the meaning of life" means for you and interpret it in any way you wish.  You can be literal and scrap about your purpose on this earth.  Or be broader and think about your beliefs about life in general, what makes life meaningful for you, or what you hope to accomplish with this life.  Be as specific or as general as you wish.  And don't think it has to be serious!  Feel free to have fun with it if you want.

Lesson 17 - 10 years from now...

"Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"  Is there any worse interview question?  Its the one that makes me groan, implying I spend all my time plotting out the next 10 to 15 years of my career (and to imply otherwise is not a great interview strategy).  But I do like this question when I think about my personal life... 

what do I think my life will be like in 10 years?  What would I like it to look like?  I only have this one life, as corny as that sounds, and I think sometimes we all need a wake-up call to make sure we are headed in the direction we want our lives to head in.  

This week, the idea is to reflect of your life in 10 years.  It can be a simple vision of the future (like Cindy's layout) or a deep dissection of what you want from your life.  

**As always, this Lesson can be applied to someone else.  Imagine what life you hope for your child 10 years from now... how interesting will it be to look back on that later? **

Lesson 16 - Then & Now

I was pondering what our Lesson would be for Lesson 16...

The number 16 always makes me think of being in High School when I was just 16 years old!  It can make me think of how much has happened since then and how different my life is now.  

The lesson for this week is to pick another time in your life (or someone else's life) and compare it to now.  You can make a list of key facts for then and now, document a typical day in the life, or just reflect on the big changes.

Lesson 15 - Quirks

I love that everyone is an individual.  I was raised to believe that being different or unique is a good thing.  Life would be so boring otherwise!  As I always say - Normal is for BORING people :D  This week's challenge is about the quirks and habits that make you or someone you love unique!

• What quirks do you have that others notice?  Is there any particular memory of how these quirks have made you stand out or impacted you in the past?  Do you know how your quirks started?
• What quirks do you find more endearing or amusing about a loved one?  How has their quirk impacted your life or your relationship?
