I love the look of heat embossing but I am a disaster when it comes to stamping! But with my bottle of glossy accents from Ranger I can create the same look.
I started with normal patterned paper (a thicker paper will hold up better!):
Using glossy accents, I applied a layer of the liquid on top of the orange pattern. Don't worry about being overly precise... its not necessary.

Set the page aside and allow it to dry fully. If you didn't go too crazy then it should only take an hour or two. Your patterned paper may warp a tiny bit.
The final look after drying:
This technique will make darker colors deeper and richer. Try this with patterned paper, printed titles, and doodling. I also coated my Thickers with a thin layer of Glossy Accents to make they shiny!
