Speak to Me
Every so often we read a book, see a painting, or hear a song that really speaks to us for some reason. For this challenge, choose a movie, book, piece of art or song that makes you feel something strong. Document something about it - either why it means something to you, how it makes you feel, or a memory associated with it.
Kristin:
The journaling is inside the library card. It reads: Cat, Rat, and Dog; the seventeenth chapter of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is my favorite chapter of the entire series. Between reading the books, and listen to the audio recordings each night; I'm sure I've been through this chapter well over fifty times. I can't really pinpoint one reason why its my favorite. Spoiler Alert: It is one of the turning points in the entire series, where the second coming of Lord Voldemort commences. But I think perhaps the reason it really excites me is that Harry first starts to learn that Sirius Black, the man that he thought betrayed his parents, was a supporter of Voldemort, a murder, might actually be a good guy. Not only would Sirius go on to be a good guy, but he would help Harry fill a parental void that had been missing his entire life. I get so happy when I first think of them in that room together, and the wonderful (albeit short lived) relationship that they would have.
